Dog Cooling Mat AKTIV Dark Olive

The AKTIV dog cooling mat offers dogs a pleasant way to regulate their body temperature on warm days. It can be used flexibly – in the dog bed, on the floor, in the car, or while travelling – and is quickly ready to hand when the weather gets warmer. Inside is a gel based on carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), which is activated by body contact. As soon as the dog lies on the mat, the gel absorbs excess heat, providing a cooling effect. The temperature can drop between 3 °C and 8 °C below the ambient temperature. When the mat is not in use, the material releases the stored heat back into the environment and is then ready for use again. The division into several chambers prevents the gel from shifting to one side and ensures even cooling across the entire lying surface. 
The outer material is hard-wearing, water-repellent, and easy to clean, ensuring the mat remains low-maintenance for everyday use. Thanks to its flexible design, the mat can be folded up and stored to save space. It is particularly suitable for warm days at home or on the go and provides a cool resting place for all dogs, and especially for older dogs, dogs with thick coats, dogs with short snouts (e.g. bulldogs), or overweight dogs.
