Greased leather is particularly soft yet durable for everyday wear seen through its extensive use throughout horse equipment. Smooth leather has the characteristics to soften and darken with time and wear, thus developing its very own unique patina. Due to the characteristics of braided natural leather, the collar has the tendency to stretch over time. If the measurements are between 2 sizes, we recommend opting for the smaller size.
Regular greasing helps to keep the leather soft and supple.
